About Kellene

Since 2003, I have been working as a professional nanny and family assistant, primarily in the Connecticut/New York area. The bulk of that time was spent with three families (current one for 13+ years), caring for children from infancy through the early teens. I provide smart, development-focused care with creativity, patience, and affection. Children in my care learn to do daily chores, manage their spaces, play chess, solve a Rubik's cube, map a sentence, ride a bike, foster a love of reading, turn a cardboard box into a spaceship, or whatever else the day brings. I am a former Certified Nursing Assistant with newborn nursery/NICU experience, and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. I cook, sing, do arts and crafts, love getting outside to play and explore nature, and I fold laundry like it's retail. I am comfortable and experienced with all kinds of pets, including dogs, cats, hamsters, etc. I am looking for a full-time position, but also available for occasional babysitting.
