I have extensive experience working with people with special needs. I worked for three summers as a special needs camp counselor in Maryland and New Jersey. I was responsible for my assigned campers' personal care along with providing an enjoyable environment. In addition, I'm currently working as a personal care attendant for a man in Newton with a spinal cord injury. I believe only a certain type of person can work with people with special needs. It's work that takes a lot of diligence and patience but ultimately it's very satisfying. I hope to continue to special needs in the future.
