About Keira

Hi! My name is Keira, and I am a college student studying education with plans to become a second-grade teacher. I have a passion for working with children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment. I gained experience working with children through AmeriCorps during my senior year of high school, working at a daycare in Slippery Rock, and serving as a counselor at PVYC Summer Camp. I have also completed classroom field placements through my education program, giving me hands-on experience supporting children's academic and social development. I am responsible, patient, dependable, and caring.
