About Keetha

My own daughter is grown and living on her own here in Austin. In the past I have been an education major (though I earned my BS in Communications), worked as a youth mentor, taught yoga to 6th graders, and owned an acupuncture business that focused on anxiety in teens. (Austin Teen Acupuncture) Prior to the pandemic I worked in the service industry, taught yoga classes, and maintained a small acupuncture business in South Austin. I am looking to find a summer caretaking gig for a family that needs a responsible, conscious adult to help with their child. Ages 7-12 are the best. I enjoy outdoor adventures, local natural spots like the Greenbelt, Wildflower Center, & Botanical Gardens. I enjoy applying science and history to local landmarks and landscapes. (Side note: I used to be an Austin Bat Tour Guide. I can really nerd out on Mexican Free-tailed Bats. So can my daughter... she used to have that job, too.)
