I am a certified Behavioral Technician (RBT, BCAT) with 2-3 years of experience working with children from infancy through age 14, including nonverbal children and kids with developmental differences. Working in this field has taught me a lot of patience. A lot of the time when kids act out, they are just too young or do not have the words yet to say what they need, and I have gotten really good at reading that and responding calmly. I am comfortable with diaper changes, cleaning up messes, tantrums, and keeping up with multiple kids at once. I also have experience dog sitting and live with four cats, so pet-friendly homes are no problem. I genuinely love watching kids grow and pick up new things. It is a big part of why I keep coming back to this kind of work.

Keerthana babysat my son for months when I was at school. What I really liked about her was that she never took him around the school without checking with me, same if he wanted to eat something. I also really liked that she always gave him water while he was playing soccer. She was really thoughtful and paid attention. My son loved her so much, and he still remembers her. He enjoyed spending time with her.
