About Keely

I am a reliable, empathic, creative individual who loves helping others and cultivating community. I have experience with childcare from being a big sister and having a large family with plenty of young cousins to babysit. I was a substitute teacher last school year and loved working with all types of kids despite the challenges. I am looking for a smaller scale of childcare by helping a family or two and I am willing to take on added tasks when asked. Working in a nonprofit catered to creating science experiments to kids showed me the wonder and awe of little minds. I was able to facilitate all sorts of science experiments to kids while allowing them to problem solve on their own, offering support when it was needed. Watching the gears turn when encountering an obstacle- and then the pride of figuring it out- was one of my favorite things. I'm positive I can promote a safe, comfortable, positive environment to best support your children.
