Aloha! I'm Keala. I'm in my mid-thirties, and am born and raised on O'ahu. I went to college in San Francisco, and have lived in multiple countries, including as a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia. With two decades of childcare experience, I'm comfortable caring for multiple children, ranging from infants to teens, including those with disabilities. I was a special education teacher for 3 years, and have worked with children and adults with disabilities for a total of 6 years. I have a calm, patient, warm and kind personality and will always keep things very professional. I love to make children feel comfortable and bring them out of their shell through interactive and creative play. I am an excellent communicator and will ensure that I update the family of how the child is doing, including sending photos. I am very comfortable with many different personalities, as I have worked for multiple nanny agencies, and have babysat/nannied for hundreds of families from all walks of life!

Keala is a wonderful child carer! She became part of our family in 2018. She frequently cared for our two children who were 6 and 4 at the time that we lived on Oahu. She was also our house sitter / dog sitter as we took trips to the other islands and to the mainland. She is also an educator which is a big bonus! She is diligent, careful, and takes her tasks in childcare very seriously. She provides top notch care. We no longer live on Oahu, but we keep in constant contact with Keala, and she comes to visit us sometimes. She became instant family and we miss her very much! We highly recommend her services, and only wish we lived closer to her!
