About Keala

Aloha! I'm Keala. I'm in my mid-thirties, and am born and raised on O'ahu. I went to college in San Francisco, and have lived in multiple countries, including as a Fulbright Scholar in Malaysia. With two decades of childcare experience, I'm comfortable caring for multiple children, ranging from infants to teens, including those with disabilities. I was a special education teacher for 3 years, and have worked with children and adults with disabilities for a total of 6 years. I have a calm, patient, warm and kind personality and will always keep things very professional. I love to make children feel comfortable and bring them out of their shell through interactive and creative play. I am an excellent communicator and will ensure that I update the family of how the child is doing, including sending photos. I am very comfortable with many different personalities, as I have worked for multiple nanny agencies, and have babysat/nannied for hundreds of families from all walks of life!
