About Kay

I'd best describe myself as positive, caring, energetic and encouraging I love to see children discover the world around them. I raised (and homeschooled for several years) my own 3 children (young adults), volunteered in the church nursery for years and trained other volunteers, was also a substitute kindergarten teacher, PT nannied for 3 different families and regular babysitter for several others including one family with twin babies and another family with a special needs child. Children are fun, messy, adventurous and emotional and while the days for parents can feel long and exhausting, believe me the years are very short so enjoy the ride! I do work full time but always available for weekends, weeknights and occasionally during weekdays. In my spare time, I like to workout, read, cook, walk the dog, decorate, spend time traveling with family and friends, babysit and I'm a big fan of all things sports. Also certified in Orton Gillingham (additional $50 per hour for tutoring)
