My experience caring for individuals with special needs started when I was about 5yrs old. I needed to help provide day to day support to my brother, who has Autism. As I got older, I began assisting with the Special Olympics program as a coach. I enjoyed working 1:1 with the players and supporting them as they learned and developed new skills. Seeing them have fun, develop friendships, and build their self-confidence brought me so much joy! When I began working as a 'paid PCA', I gained even more 'hands-on' experience as a caregiver and support person. I have worked at a PCA for 5 years and enjoy helping those that I work with gain new skills as well as achieve their goals. I am a quick learner and I am very willing to be taught new things! I am a non-smoker and I am very comfortable with pets. I also have my own vehicle and I am able to help with transportation. I would love the opportunity to work with your family!

Kaylie has been a PCA (Personal Care Attendant) for my Autistic son for 5 years. She's been great! With COVID, our needs have changed, since I'm now working from home.
