About Kaylie

Hi, I'm Kaylie! I am a 1st grade teacher. I am a first-time Mom (Sept 2026) looking to care for children from my home. I have a lot of experience in child care including ages range from 6 weeks to 14 years old, tutoring school-aged children, regular overnights, and have extensive training in Orton Gillingham (a phonics program for students with dyslexia). I provided CES (Children Extensive Services) and Adult Care Services for a CCB in Fort Collins, working with children and adults with disabilities. I taught in a preschool and decided that watching children in a corporate setting was not where my heart was. I have my Master's in Elementary Education, and have taught in Aurora, Fort Lupton, Westminster, and Denver. I have also been house-sitting and pet-keeping since I was 11, caring for everything from fins to hooves. I am a very outgoing, energetic young woman who absolutely adores the outdoors and helping children to learn as much as they can about the world they live in!
