About Kayleigh

I'm a recent Texas A&M graduate (Architecture). I just got back from 8 months abroad in Germany as a live in nanny/au pair (3 kids ages 6, 3, 1) I'm interested in how a child's environment affects their learning and development. I hope to design schools, homes, or other spaces for children. My goal is that these spaces will provide an environment that encourages healthy cognitive, emotional, and social development. I have been nannying since I was 16. I have experience caring for children of all ages (newborn-15 years). I have also worked as a camp counselor with ages 13-17. I have a gentle approach to caring for children. I believe consistency is key to helping children excel (between parent/guardian, school, and nanny/babysitter). I find that I work best with infants-young school aged children, but I'm always open to working with older kids if it's a good fit! If you're interested in Montessori learning, or already incorporate it, I'm also educated on these ideas and practice
