I have worked with my little brother who has ADHD, ASD, and a traumatic brain injury for 16 years. This ignited my passion for special education and I have worked in the system for over 5 years as a para educator, direct support professional, activity coordinator, and now as a certified special education teacher in a middle school class. I have worked with students preschool all the way to transition (18-22) as well as adult programs. I have experience dealing with mild and moderate behaviors and abilities to severe and profound behaviors and abilities. I have such a huge passion for bettering the lives of those with any level of ability and I believe that comes with improving their academic and applicable life skills.
