About Kayla

Hello, my name is Kayla and I'm an alumni of Slippery Rock University with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. I have experience with children from infancy to 9 years old. I have worked at a daycare, nursery, preschool, private schools, and public schools. I have all of my clearances, had CPR/first aid training, and training in crisis interventions. I am a non-smoker, have my own vehicle/transportation, and comfortable with pets. I am looking for a career change from teaching and hoping to provide support, education, and care to a family. I focus on consistent routines and learning through play and would love the opportunity to bring your child/children to museums, libraries, environmental centers, parks, and more, if comfortable. I also am a first time mom to my little girl born in September of 2024. I would love a family that is flexible to that and would allow me to bring my child to interact with your family, again if comfortable, but totally understand if not.
