About Kayla

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With four years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in creating personalized learning pathways for students from elementary school through college. I hold expertise in Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and excel at breaking down complex concepts in math and science into manageable, achievable steps. By connecting challenging topics to your personal interests and using varied strategies like visual aids and hands-on activities, I ensure that you remain engaged and motivated. I believe that open communication between myself, you, and your parents is the key to building a collaborative, successful environment. Witnessing your confidence grow as you master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and seeing you succeed.
