About Kayla

Hello, my name is Kayla! I am looking for babysitting gigs and am available at anytime until September 1st, which then I will be available evenings, over night and weekends. I have 1. 5 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum, ages 2-6. In a behavioral analysis setting, I have worked with children with both high and low support needs. I have experience with non-verbal children who use alternative forms of communication (AAC, sign language) and children who don't yet have communication. Along with communication barriers, I have ran potty training schedules, support in other life skills (feeding, washing hands, brushing teeth, preparing meals). I also have experience working with several behavior issues, including (not limited to) self-injurious behavior. physical aggression and property destruction. ** Adhering to RBT ethics code, I am not able to perform ABA therapy with children I am babysitting.
