About Kayla

I am a creative and compassionate caregiver with a passion for guiding children and young adults on their path of growth. I am nurturing, patient, and playful. I believe that caring for a child is an incredible responsibility, one that should not be taken lightly. I graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Liberal Studies Elementary Education. I ran Math and Literacy Tutoring for elementary students. I also worked as the Program Director of the Boys and Girls Club in Eureka, CA. Here I mentored and ran educational / leadership programs for 65-80 K-5th Grade students each day. I have worked as a Private Nanny for over 10 years. I have cared for children ages 2 months - 12 years old. I bring a positive and playful attitude, a wealth of experience, and a love for art, music, nature, and play. Every child is a unique individual with their own talents and struggles. It is my job to meet them where they are at and lovingly guide them as they grow.
