About Kayla

I'd describe my personality as friendly, kind, and self-motivated. I like working with kids because I think they are a great time! They can teach us so much about the world through their imagination. I'm looking for a job where the kids are open to being either active, learning, or creative. I started working with kids when I was 19 as a sailing instructor. Since then almost all my jobs have revolved around child care. Including two season working as a ski instructor for ages 3-6. In my spare time, I like to mountain bike, knit, bake, ski, and climb. My skills include patience, adaptability, and calm and compassionate communication. After working with five new students a day ski instructing, I understand the wide range of personalities and emotions kids can have. I found successful techniques that made every kid feel welcomed and have a good time.
