About Kayla

I'd describe my personality as respectful, upbeat, and responsible. I am 27 years old and just retired from playing professional basketball. I am looking for a career I can be equally as passionate about. I like working with kids because I know firsthand how having an adult you can trust and look up to is beneficial for development. I started working with kids when I was in college. I coached a lot of kids in basketball and ended up nannying for a family that I met at my training lessons. I also babysit for my 1-year-old nephew and have been doing that since August! In my spare time, I like to do arts and crafts, play basketball and sports, read books, hang out with my friends, shop, and watch some Netflix in the evenings if time allows. One thing you should know about me is I am a very hard worker and like to go above and beyond in everything I do. I am very reliable and have incredible time management skills due to being an athlete my whole life.
