About Kayla

Making a positive impact on children's lives is my passion. My five years of experience working with children, as well as my consistent summer camp and after-school care roles, have solidified my desire to work with children. I've also worked as a teacher's assistant with children who struggle with behavioral problems. I am patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, providing regular updates via text or phone call, and written daily reports. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I am comfortable caring for one child, ages 0-11. I have some college experience and Early Child Development Coursework. I am also trained in First Aid and CPR. I'm happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and crafts.
