I've had long term nanny positions for greater than a year with four different families, and many short term/as needed gigs with families as well. In 2020, I completed nursing school (LPN). Though I work as a nurse occasionally, my passion for enriching children's minds and development keeps bringing me back here to child care! Kayla is a truly exceptional nanny and house manager. She worked with us for nearly 2 years, only leaving because I chose to leave work and be a SAHM. She first started with us when our oldest son was about 15 months old and stayed with us through the birth of our second! (We had a 3 year old and an 8 month old by the time I retired.) Kayla is amazing with both newborns and toddlers. She did a fantastic job of keeping the newborn on a schedule while still maintaining all the fun activities for our toddler. On top of the exceptional child care, she kept our whole house afloat while my husband and I both managed stressful careers. She helped with laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, errands, you name it. I’m not sure how we would have survived those two years without her. We all love her so much!
