About Kayla

Hello and thank you for your interest in my services. I have enjoyed the privilege/responsibility of caring for/teaching children from a vast range of backgrounds, abilities, ages, and needs. My recent positions include teaching Early Childhood Special Education (Bryan ISD, 9 students, age 4-5), serving as a Behavioral Therapist to a 4-year-old with Autism (through Applied Behavioral Analysis), and (currently) teaching math to 1st and 2nd grade students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. I am seeking a full/part-time position in/near Thrall, TX and am open to any age/ability levels, though my favorite groups to work with are toddlers and infants. My hobbies include arts/crafts (watercolor, embroidery, and many others), tending to my house plants (and first vegetable garden), and enjoying time with my pets.
