About Kayla

Hi! I am a mom of two boys (11 and 3 years old), lover of music, art, and all things creative. As a child care provider I always try to make sure the kids that I keep get ample time outdoors, are learning something as often as they can, and most importantly feel loved and cared for in addition to providing detailed communication about their care. I have 20+ years of childcare experience as I have been working in the field since I was a young teen. I have worked with all ages, special needs children, multiples, newborns, and even worked in pediatric occupational therapy! I started out date night babysitting for families, and have worked in several childcare centers, and for several families as a nanny. I am background checked, fingerprinted, CPR certified and hold an associates degree and current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
