Hi! My name is Kayla and I'm Pediatric First aid and CPR certified as of 2024, and ready and willing to provide the certification. I'm reliable, enthusiastic, creative, and a hard worker! I have one on one nannying and tutoring experience, as well as classroom experience with elementary-high school children who may have different needs, more specifically neurodivergent children (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc.) and developmentally delayed infants. I have good time management skills and work ethic, and I'll always give the best I have to whatever task I'm given. My favorite activities involve doing crafts and playing outdoors! Kayla is an amazing and trustworthy nanny! Our daughter LOVED “Kayla School” and looked forward to her showing up each morning. Kayla came with a positive attitude each day and helped our daughter grow more than I could have even hoped. Each day was filled with art, crafts, exploring outside, reading, imaginative play. It was clear Kayla doesn’t just show up and wing it, but she could also change on the fly if the day needed to go in a different direction, which it often can with a toddler. Kayla’s communication was wonderful and it doesn’t take long to see how much she cares about her work and our entire family. Kayla is excellent with boundaries and made sure we were comfortable with all decision making. She also worked with our older children up to age 13, and all of them loved their chance to go to Kayla school or be with Kayla if she covered a date night. We found Kayla to be such an incredible role model, patient, and always wanted the best for our daughter. It was like having the best of the best school teacher in a 1:1 in-home setting, which fit best with our schedule. Kayla did a great job preparing our daughter for her upcoming preschool. While we won’t benefit from having Kayla every day, we do hope to have the chance for her to come back as our kids are already asking when she will be back. If you know the importance of a good nanny for all involved, you will be in the best hands choosing Kayla. If you are looking for a nanny for the first time, she is going to set the bar incredibly high. I would be thrilled to be a reference for anyone considering Kayla!
