About Kayla

I have 8 years of experience working with children. I was a daycare teacher for 4 years working with all ages from infancy to age 12. I specialized in 0-24 months for a large portion of that time. I have a Bachelors in Applied Science with double minors in Psychology and Communications. I am finishing my third year working as an American Sign Language interpreter for Deaf/Hard of Hearing children in K-12 setting. The last 2 summers I was a nanny for a family taking care of a child from 4-6 months and then again the following summer around 16-18 months. I can absolutely provide a reference contact if desired. As a nanny, I am happy to help with creative activities, crafts, etc. that meet proper levels of child development. I am willing to make fun trips and supervise activities. I am only available for the summer months while I am off from my job as an educational interpreter. I am available starting June 9th and can work through most of August.
