About Kayla

My experience with children started off with being the oldest of 3 in my family. With a single mom, I was babysitting a lot. I have been comfortable with children from early on because of this. Since then I have provided summer care to a few different families, date nights for friends, neighbors, etc., house cleaning, cooking meals, pet sitting, and the occasional overnight stay. I love being with children outside, in particular, and engaging with them in natural ways. I am a certified substitute teacher, so I have background in how to deal with conflict when it comes to children. I consider myself to be an emotionally intelligent and calm person. I am a certified Clinical Herbalist as well, so I can offer healthy nourishing meals, custom formulations, herbal infusions, treats, etc. Open to helping around the house, meal prep, etc.
