About Kayla

Hi there! My name is Kayla and I am 33 years old. I have been working with kiddos since I was a kid myself (at 12 years old) and I have loved it ever since:) I have experience working in different daycare settings focusing on education curriculum from ages 5 months to 10 years old, and have volunteered at shelters and group homes watching and mentoring children that are in difficult situations. After I graduated high school, I went to UEI college where I received my medical assistant certification, and worked in pediatrics. In the last 6 years I have worked in respite care with kiddos and adults with special needs, as a preschool teacher, nanny, and most recently worked as a classroom aide in a mod/severe special education classroom. Besides having professional experience, I have personal experience being a mother of three with two kiddos on the spectrum. I would definitely say my greatest strength are punctuality, compassion, resilience, and passion:) feel free to ask me anything :)
