About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla. I am a 22-year-old graduate from the University of Texas at Austin. I have worked with children my entire life starting with caring for my younger brother. In high school I babysat for many families in my hometown, worked as a counselor at Camp CAMP for children with special needs, and worked at VBS camps during the summer. In college I worked at an after school daycare for ages 5-12 and did many day and summer camps. I also worked at Camp Ozark for two years in a row, where I cared for a cabin of 10-13 girls 24/7. I also have experience with infants as I was a nanny for 6 months and am CPR certified. I have a golden retriever at home who is my best friend so I enjoy playing and taking care of animals as well. I plan on working with children in the future after finishing my masters degree in speech pathology. I love being a sitter because children are the most important part of our communities, they are our future and deserve the best care and support.
