About Kayla

I have a Master of Arts in Teaching and taught 2nd grade for one year and 3rd grade for two years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have over 5 years of experience caring for children from newborn to age six, and I now have a 7-month-old daughter who will be with me as I care for your children. I'm looking for families who would like care provided in my home-but I am open to discussing alternate options. If desired, with my teaching background, I'm also happy to help prepare your child for preschool or elementary school through fun, educational activities. I'm patient, creative, and friendly. I enjoy outdoor play, crafts, board games, puzzles, and activities that make learning fun. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified and comfortable enforcing household rules while maintaining open communication with parents.
