About Kayla

Nurturing children comes naturally to me. With two years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, through working at Duke Gardens Summer Camp and Eco-Reverb after school program for the youth in Durham. I bring a patient, creative, and friendly approach to childcare. I am passionate about fostering growth and development, and making a positive impact on young lives. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am comfortable caring for up to two children at a time. I prioritize open communication with you, following your preferred method to discuss your child's day or any arising issues. I always follow your lead when enforcing household rules. I am CPR and First Aid certified, speak both English and Spanish, have my own car, and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family!
