While I'm just entering paid childcare and looking to build my professional experience, I bring my own personal experience as a middle child in a family of 10 siblings-- many of who have kids of their own. I've regularly helped care for my nieces, nephews, and younger siblings since they were little. I also gained hands-on training as a backup care provider for a family member who's been a nanny of 6 years, and would be happy to provide her info as reference. I enjoy engaging in creative activities like drawing, crafts, and storytime. I'm also happy to assist with chores such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up. I'm CPR, First-Aid, and AED certified and I'm excited to foster a supportive environment while gaining valuable experience!

I connected with Kayla though a fb group and she was very communicative from the beginning! I appreciate that she takes initiative in finding ways to stimulate and entertain my little one, but also incorporates any suggestions I have as well. She handles all the meltdowns (I have a clingy/velcro baby) with genuine patience and I will certainly continue to use her in the future
