My name is Kayla, I'm 28 years old, and I'm originally from Long Island, NY. I graduated from Suffolk County Community College in 2019 with my associates degree, and later obtained my Child Development Associate Credential in 2021. I was hired for a Lead Teacher position with the Children's Community Head Start, Birth-5 Program in June 2018, and for 4 years I worked in an Infant/Toddler classroom with children aged 4months-3 years old. I left there in January 2022 to move to Raleigh. After my move, I started a full time nanny position in Cary with a family where both parents were EMS workers. My hours would fluctuate between 10 and 14 hours a day, and 3-4 days a week depending on their scheduled shifts. They had 2 girls aged 23 months and 8 months when I first started, and 3 large dogs. Now we are making another move to Mooresville! My asking rate is $25/hour for 1 child, and $30/hour for 2, can negotiate if gas if offered. I am CPR certified and I am comfortable with pets!

She nannied my special needs son for around 3 years and was an amazing help. She cooked great, healthy meals for him, helped him with his homework and drove him to appointments, she even went on vacations with our family to help take care of him. She spent her own money to buy gifts for him and take him to activities that would help him thrive. Before she was a part of our lives I didn't know what to do but with her training and advice and input I really got a deep understanding and a deep connection with my son and we couldn't be closer now and that's thanks to her, she brought out my shy son into the world and let him flourish. She would clean the house and tend to the pets without even being asked, which was so welcomed.She has a lot of valuable information and added positive influences to our household that has changed how I act like a parent and I only have her to thank. If you are looking for a truly dependable,honest, hard working person to look after your kids i couldn't reccomend her enough. Truly a wonderful person and a fantastic caretaker.
