About Kayla

Although I have never formally taught before, I have always excelled in my English classes without requiring much effort and I completely attribute it to Hooked on Phonics (hopefully I'm not aging myself). After college, I excelled in business management for 16 years. My English skills helped me advance to the top of the organizational chart fairly quickly and for the last 10 years, I single-handedly handled all marketing, employee relations, payroll, contract management, vendor management, client relations, permit applications, and website design. My English skills were the pillar that helped me manage and excel with each task. I would love to help other students get through English and hopefully develop an appreciation that helps guide them through their adult life as it has done for me.
