About Kayla

I strive to bring loving care, kindness, attentiveness and organizational skills to childcare, backed by prior childcare experience and a 90-Hour Child Care Certification which I received in high-school. I've worked as a counselor , a preschool teacher and a daycare program assistant at via YMCA, refining my abilities in activity planning, teaching, and ensuring children's safety and well-being. I'd describe myself as creative, passionate/engaged, organized, and outgoing. I enjoy working with kids as it allows me to foster their creativity and support their development in a positive, nurturing environment. With work, I seek flexibility, understanding, a welcoming atmosphere, and strong communication. My journey with children began as a Junior Counselor in 2017. In my spare time, I enjoy painting/drawing, reading, and enjoying nature. Fun fact: I'm a morning person. My top skills include patience, communication, and cleanliness.
