I like working with kids because they have so much joy, love, and imagination that they share with the world and I love being someone that they share that experience with. I started working with kids when I was 10 and had to babysit my cousins. Then one of my sisters was born when I was 13 and I would babysit and help my dad around the house. My mom would then refer me to coworkers and friends who needed babysitters. I occasionally babysit my 1 yr old and 3 yr olds sisters when I visit back home!

We hired Kayla on fairly short notice, 1 day before the event. On short notice she was very responsive and easy to coordinate with. On the day of our event, she arrived on-time, had great energy and quickly took to looking after our teething 11 month old. We were impressed because a teething baby can be cranky and very finicky. Kayla's demeanor was calming, she handled our daughter with the care and compassion that felt like family which put us at ease. This was the 2nd time we have hired sitter for a date night, I can say that we've never felt so comfortable. Kayla was attentive, good with understanding our daughter's schedule and did a great job (given a quick pass at some general directions). When we returned home our daughter was sound asleep. We look forward to working with Kayla in the future and would definitely hire her again.
