About Kayla

Hello everyone! My name is Kayla and I am a student at Scott Community College. Working with children is something that has always come naturally to me. There's nothing that brings me greater joy. Mainly, I have experience with children between the ages of 18 months through 8 years old. I have 3 years of teaching experience through volunteering with preschool dance classes and currently, I work part time teaching gymnastics classes for children between the ages of 18 months and 6. In my work, I strive to be patient, fun, and compassionate. As safety is one of my top priorities, I am in the process of becoming CPR and first aid certified. I'm relatively flexible when it comes to schedules, especially during the summer. Additionally, I am willing to help with light housekeeping and cooking/meal preparation.
