About Kayla

I have been a full time/vacation nanny, a substitute teacher, a daycare and nursery worker, a camp counselor for 4 summers, and just finished teaching high school art for 4 school years (8 semesters total). I studied 4 semesters of early childhood education and graduated with a Bachelor's degree focusing on Pottery. I'd describe my personality as adventurous, playful, and direct. I like working with kids because they keep me close to my truest self. I'm looking for a consistent family with minimal or spontaneous hours or family's needing a on call nanny that is flexible and trustworthy. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a nanny. In my spare time, I am mainly creating with clay, sewing, and/or fire dancing. A few things to know about me is that I am very open, honest, and empathic. I am a Certified Ayurvedic Coach and enjoy holistic healthcare and cleaning supplies. My skills include healthy communication, listening, patient, and being relatable.. with all ages.
