About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla. I am a recent college graduate for Xavier University of Louisiana. I graduated with a Degree in Biology & Spanish. I am currently taking a gap year before attending medical school. I love kids! I have plenty of experience of volunteering, teaching and mentoring with kids of all ages! In high school, I worked at a daycare called Oak Park Friends School, taught Spanish to children through a program called Living the Language and English to students in Ecuador through Global Glimpse. In college, I volunteered and was a Project Coordinator to many service programs that provided tutoring, mentorship and enrichment to children. My most recent job as a enrichment instructor provided me with the most growth in my abilities to work with children. I worked with a second grade class and taught "STEAM" at Kenner Discovery Health Sciences. I am CPR certified, COVID vaccinated, and can help with cooking, cleaning, potty training, and more! I have my own vehicle and love dogs!
