In high school I was very involved with my schools special needs department. I was in a class called partners P. E and would help special needs kids with all different types of disabilities. It was heart-warming to see how much impact being with those kids had on my attitude. They probably taught me more than I taught them. I have also babysat a girl with autism and really enjoyed that. I want to become a nurse so I feel I have the compassion to really help care for children.
