About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla. I'm a recent graduate from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in Physiological Science and I'm currently pursuing my second bachelor's degree in Nursing. A little bit about me: I'm bubbly, energetic, patient, and caring, and I always strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment. I also love cooking, baking and reading as a hobby. I also love working with children of all ages! I'm the oldest sibling to two younger brothers (one who is on the spectrum) and have extensive experience caring for kids with diverse needs and personalities. I've worked as a substitute teacher for elementary, middle and high school students, where I developed a passion for working in the children's population as a nurse. I have worked as a behavioral technician supporting children with special needs. I am currently in my pediatric clinical rotation, where I am constantly interacting with children of all ages, backgrounds, and needs.
