About Kayla

Hi there, I'm Kayla! As the oldest of 6 homeschooled children, I grew up around and have always loved working with children. I was a natural second mom to my siblings and always enjoyed caring for them, from playtime to nap-time and, once old enough, I started babysitting for other families too. I went on to work as a nanny for a family of four children, then as a live in nanny for a family of three children. I additionally worked as a swim instructor for children ranging in ages from 6 months to 12 years old, coached 11-12-year-olds swim team, and was a lifeguard for 4 years. My number one goal is always the safety of the little ones I'm in charge of. My second goal is creating a fun environment that fosters creativity and learning while building a relationship of trust. A fun fact about me is that I love to read and play piano, and I would love nothing more than to pass that love of books, music and life-long learning to your little ones!
