Hello! My name is Kayla, and I am a school psychologist in training through the University of Missouri. I am about to graduate with my masters and am starting my internship in St. Louis to finish my program and graduate with my Ed. S degree. I graduated with my Bachelors in psychology at Missouri State in May 2024. I have 6 years of experience working with children as a nanny, in the schools, and in the residential setting. Through care. com, I have worked as a summer nanny, afterschool nanny, part-time nanny, and as a babysitter. I love providing children with a safe and nurturing environment and watching them grow!

Kayla worked for us for about 5 or 6 months, and she was so great! It takes our little girl a little while to warm up to new people, and Kayla was so patient with her and now they are great buddies! She was always on time, very dependable, and so sweet. We would highly recommend Kayla, and would definitely use her again!

Our girls love Kayla! This is the first person to watch our kids outside of family but she put us completely at ease. Her love for children is very apparent and she does a great job keeping them busy all day. I appreciate how fast she picked up on their schedules. We will definitely be using her in the future!

Kayla is passionate about the work she does at Missouri State University's Bear Pantry. She is eager to support students' success and always offers a helping hand to those with questions or concerns at the Pantry. Kayla displays great attention to detail by creating order out of chaos. Overall, Kayla is a collaborative and caring team member who is easy to work with thanks to her willingness to take initiative.

Kayla is such an amazing sitter. She is a God sent. Absolutely wonderful and 10/10 would recommend. As for the Emily gal who commented, she should teach her snotty little gremlins some manners and respect before handing them off. If you need a fun responsible sitter Kayla is the gal for you.

Kayla has always been a team player. When it came to last minute plans popping up Kayla was always there if not even early! She has always been personable with me and my family and I could not have asked for a better person for the job. She gave me great detailed run down of how the days with the kids went as well as following every rule I had set and even reaching out if something fell into the grey area so she could get a more accurate response instead of listening to the little rascals that do sometimes try their best to get their way. Kayla became a part of my family and I truly am so thankful for her every day! Love this girl!

Kayla was punctual and very sweet with our boys (5 and 7). That said, she was not very dependable, responsible, creative, or engaged with our boys. She was on her phone a lot and quite distracted. She was not prepared to provide basic healthy meals (lunch) or snacks. She didn't follow basic directions for hygiene, sunscreen, water, snacks, etc. in the midst of the pandemic. She forgot to bring water bottles to the park on a 90 degree day and so she shared her water bottle getting our entire family sick with a nasty sinus infection. Thankfully it wasn't Covid but it may as well have been. Our son has immunodeficiency and so we had ask her to take appropriate precautions. She did not. She also negotiated for a higher hourly wage, but was not duly responsible or engaged. Our boys repeatedly asked her to swim at the pool but she would sit on the side reading a book. I wish I could recommend her to other families, but I cannot.

Kayla was an absolute Godsend to us!  I had a new job that I was unable to pick our two kiddos.. B (14) R (9) from school and activities and bring them home.  She played games with them and my daughter still talks about her to this day.  Kayla is absolutely the sweetest.  She was ALWAYS on time and my kids adored her.  It was so amazing to have complete confidence that my kids were in good hands.  I would still use her today if she wasn't off to college!

Kayla watched our 8 month old twin boys for a last minute date night. She was so sweet and seemed to be a perfect fit for the job. We would absolutely have her back and would recommend her.
