About Kayla

With a strong commitment to family, I, a 43-year-old single woman, cherish my relationships with my five nieces, two nephews, three great-nephews, and one great-niece. The well-being of children has always been a priority for me, inspiring my dedication to supporting families with children and making a meaningful difference. I possess a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and will initiate online classes for my Master's degree this Spring. Throughout my career, I have accumulated experience in various roles, including six years in daycare until 2002, 16 years as a child welfare social worker contracted through DHS, where I collaborated with families to reunite children in foster care or ensure their safety at home, and, since 2018, as a nanny, initially caring for an8-week-old infant until kindergarten age. Following this, I assumed diverse nanny positions, frequently filling temporary roles, to accommodate my grandmother's health issues, which demanded flexibility.
