About Kayla

I've worked as a behavior technician for 3 yrs with children aged 3-17. Before that, I gained 2 years experience as a babysitter/nanny. Being an RBT has developed my skills in promoting desirable behavior & independence, teaching social skills, building lasting strong bonds and trust, and creating fun, supportive environments for developing young neurodivergent minds. I believe time in nature is crucial for children's physical & mental development, with so many opportunities for teaching and making memories. At home, I'm a great cook and respect your home & pets by keeping things clean and safe, while encouraging your children to do the same. I love to support children's creativity/critical thinking by engaging in arts & crafts, puzzles, and riddles. I love to sing, and I can play some soothing wooden flute when it's time to wind down. I'd be honored for the opportunity to be a positive role model in your child's lives and contribute to their best childhood. They only get one!
