About Kayla

I have cared for an elderly cancer patient in hospice care at their home and was there everyday as a live in. The hospice nurse would come in the evenings to check on everything however I would bathe, dress, change dressings, beddings and prepare any of the meals she could eat as well as her medication management. I was able to be by her side and offer support, laughter and empathy until her last day. After this experience I was privileged another opportunity to care for a lovely elderly woman who had dementia. I was a live out caregiver who came every day from 9:00am-4:00 p.m. I handled all of her bathing, dressing as well as changing bedding everyday and meal preparation for her and medication management. I was able to bring joy, love, care and laughter to her till her last day as well.
