About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, and I have several years of experience working with children as a nanny and a paraeducator in an elementary school setting. I am currently pursuing my teaching credential (for elementary) and will begin student teaching this fall. I am patient, dependable, and energetic, and I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. I love supporting kids through homework help, reading, crafts, outdoor play, and activities. I have worked with children since high school, starting with babysitting neighborhood kids and helping care for my younger brother. These experiences, along with my professional role in education, have strengthened my passion for child development and caregiving. Starting mid-Aug I will be available for after-school (3:30pm-8pm) and weekend care. I am looking for a family where I can provide consistent, reliable support and build a positive relationship with both children and parents.
