About Kayla

Hi! My name is Kayla, and I have several years of experience working with children as a paraeducator in an elementary school setting. I am currently pursuing my teaching credential and will begin student teaching this fall. I am patient, dependable, and energetic, and I enjoy creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. I love supporting kids through homework help, reading, crafts, outdoor play, and activities that encourage learning and confidence. I have worked with children since high school, starting with babysitting neighborhood kids and helping care for my younger brother. These experiences, along with my professional role in education, have strengthened my passion for child development and caregiving. I am available full-time this summer, and beginning mid-August I will be available for after-school and weekend care. I am looking for a family where I can provide consistent, reliable support and build a positive relationship with both children and parents.
