About Kayla

Hi, I'm Kayla! I'm a full time student at FAMU and I major in animal science with a focus on Pre-Veterinary medicine. I own a 1 1/2-year-old Turkish angora named Heru and he is very social and mild mannered. I work as a kennel technician/ animal care attendant at a local veterinary hospital where I: organize play groups, play with dogs, care for boarding animals, administer medications and sometimes I assist the doctors. I often volunteer at the local animal shelter and I'm currently in training to become a vet assistant. I love animals (obviously) and I've been pet sitting for the past 6 years and I'm experienced in sitting dogs and cats, but I'm open to sitting exotic animals. Being a full time student I have very flexible availability. I'm always available to sit overnight, and on weekends.
