Hi! I am a patient, caring babysitter who has 7 years of babysitting experience. My experience working with special needs children includes working as an intern in an elementary school, as well as teaching swim lessons and assisting dance classes to special needs kids. I've worked with children with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Selective Mutism, as well as physical disabilities. Most recently I worked as a nanny for 3 years for a 9-year-old child with cerebral palsy. She was nonverbal and unable to walk unassisted. I assisted with feeding, repositioning, diaper changes, and home therapy throughout covid, as well as leading activities throughout the day. I loved the family I worked with and will gladly talk more about my experience there. I am currently studying to be certified as an Occupational Therapist.
