About Kayla

Kayla and I chatted via Care.com, had a FaceTime interview and I also had her to my home to meet my two boys. She was very personable and sweet with my boys from the start. (*two stars) She was offered the position and she accepted. The job she accepted was not starting for a few weeks later. I reached out to her and invited her back to our home to go over details about my boy's schedules, feedings, naps, etc. a week prior to the job starting. She texted me back stating that she had been meaning to reach out to me because she was offered another position at her current job and was no longer going to nanny for my family. She has left me scrambling with less than a week to find a caregiver for my two little boys. I feel it was unprofessional and disrespectful to not reach out to me as soon as she decided to take another job. Due to this situation, I do not feel she is a dependable person. She committed and then backed out at the last minute.
