About Kayla

Hello! I'm a passionate educator and caregiver with 3 years of teaching experience (4th-6th grade), most recently at the Arbor School of Arts & Sciences in Tualatin, where learning is rooted in exploration, nature, and developmentally appropriate practices. I'm also halfway through a master's in teaching. Before teaching, I nannied for two boys for two years and loved every moment. I graduated from Pacific University in 2022 with degrees in Spanish and Education, and a minor in Dance. I love crafting, singing (I play guitar too!), and creating experiences that are engaging and enriching. I can help with homework, tutoring, facilitate learning-based activities, and support your child's growth in knowledge, love, and understanding of learning.
