I recently moved to the Newport area as I am beginning a PhD in evolution and marine biology at URI in September. I graduated with a Bachelors degree from Connecticut College in 2022 and spent two of my post-grad years teaching STEM at Cardigan Mountain Boarding School and working as a dorm parent. The last 15 months, I have worked as a full time private nanny to an 18-month-old little girl and 3-year-old little boy. I love working with and teaching kids and I feel as though my positions after college have equipped me well to build meaningful connections with a broad range of age groups. I am currently looking for a part-time, after school position in the range of 15-20 hours a week.
